A 7-day immersive summer music and movement camp for middle and high school students, where chamber music, creativity and mindfulness flow together.
The Kishwaukee River Music and Movement Festival is a new summer experience rooted in sound, movement, and nature.
Designed for young musicians in middle and high school, this week-long day camp blends:
Classical chamber music
Workshops and masterclasses
Music composition
Yoga and mindful flow to music
Visual arts: sketching and painting
River flow-inspired creativity
Lively movement events, including square dancing
From 9 AM to 5 PM each day with optional evening activities, students will rehearse, create, reflect, and grow, inspired by the spirit and beauty of the Kishwaukee River.
Fundraising Concerts
Support the festival by attending one of our fundraising concerts, featuring performances with festival founders Katelyn Ackland and William Cernota, in collaboration with Soo-Yon Choi.
